Not everyone using Care Champions Support Ltd received a CQC regulated activity; CQC only inspects when the service being received by people is within the definition of the regulated activity of ‘personal care’; such as help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where we do, we also take into account any wider social care provided. At the time of the assessment, the service was supporting 11 people with personal care.”

“This assessment was carried out with a site visit to the office location on 15 June 2026.”

“The service implemented robust systems to ensure people were safeguarded from abuse. Risks had been identified and assessments completed to ensure people received safe care. The service recruited staff safely, ensuring they completed mandatory training. The service completed pre-assessments to ensure people were able to get the support they needed. Systems were in place to prevent infections.”

“Staff were caring and had a positive relationship with people. People’s privacy and dignity was respected. People received personalised care and care plans included information on how to provide person centred care. People were involved in decisions about their care.”

“The provider maintained management oversight through active quality assurance systems and regularly gathered feedback on care from both people and their relatives.”
