“Date of Assessment: 31 March 2025 to 7 April 2025. The service is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to children and adults living with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, dementia, mental health conditions and learning disabilities. This assessment was in response to CQC receiving information of concern.”
“We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’. This guidance supported judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choice, independence and access to local communities that most people take for granted. This was the service’s first assessment.”

“People did not always receive the right support as we could not be assured they had received their medicines, or their care at the correct times by suitably trained staff. There was a lack of learning throughout the service.”
“Care was not always delivered in people’s preferred way, and they were not always involved with the process.”

“Safeguarding procedures were in place and followed and the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 were considered. However, due to inconsistent staff training, we could not be assured that safeguarding and mental capacity best guidance would be consistently followed by staff.”
