The inspection record

Rated Good overall. Report published 30 April 2024.

“Aspirations Support is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care and support to people living in their own homes. People who use the service have a learning disability and/or a mental health need. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. The assessment commenced on 25 January 2024 and completed on 27 February 2024. The assessment took place remotely by an assessor and included a meeting with the service director and registered manager on 27 February 2024. We looked at 7 quality statements; Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Assessing Needs; Consent to Care and Treatment; Independence, choice and control and Equity in experiences and outcomes. Following the assessment, the service has received an overall rating of good for all quality statements assessed.”
