“This assessment took place between 19 March 2025 and 26 March 2025. ALS Support Limited t/a ALS Support is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care services to people in their own homes. During this assessment we looked at 7 quality statements. The service was providing regulated activity to 5 people at the time of the assessment. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. People and their relatives were involved in the assessment of their needs. Staff knew the people they supported well and ensured care provided was safe. Staff made sure people understood their care and treatment to enable them to give informed consent. Staff were recruited safely and trained to ensure they had the necessary skills.”
