“During an assessment in February 2025 the Care Quality Commission identified continued breaches in relation to Regulation 12 and Regulation 17. The service was rated requires improvement. A Warning Notice in Regulation 17 was issued.”

“This assessment was conducted to check the service had made the required improvements. We found the provider had made improvements to meet the legal requirements. However further work in some areas was still needed to embed improvements. The scores for the quality statements we did not assess, remained unchanged.”

“Governance systems and audits were more effective. However, aspects of care plans needed to be updated more consistently. We found examples where care records needed to be completed more accurately, such as mental capacity assessments and risk assessments. The provider responded promptly to our feedback. Whilst we found improvements in the environment, infection prevention and control, staff training and staff levels; we found more time was needed to fully implement those improvements. Staff told us they felt supported by the provider and had access to training. Staff felt staffing levels were better, and consistency of staff had improved. People and their relatives told us they felt safe and well cared for, and there were notable improvements in the environment and care since our last assessment.”
