“Date of assessment: 01 February to 24 February 2026. The Manor House is a care home providing accommodation and personal care to a maximum of 65 people. At the time of our visit, 49 people were using the service. During the assessment, a new manager had just started. While the new manager was not yet officially registered, there was clear evidence that the registration process had begun.”

“People were protected from avoidable harm by safeguarding processes, effective risk management and good incident reporting and learning systems. Care was personalised, needs were thoroughly assessed, and staff worked effectively with external professionals to ensure good outcomes. The culture across the service was positive, open and centred on continuous learning and improvement. Staff were well supported, teams communicated effectively, and governance systems provided strong oversight. Overall, the service demonstrated consistent quality, strong leadership and a commitment to delivering person-centred-care.”
