“The Coach House is a residential nursing home registered to support up to 13 older people, younger adults and people with a physical disability or sensory impairment. People in care homes receive accommodation and nursing or personal care as a single package under one contractual agreement. CQC regulates both the premises, and the care provided, and both were looked at during this assessment. The service is in the local community and set over 3 floors. People have their own individual rooms with access to large communal areas and gardens.”

“Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way which was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. There were enough staff to meet people’s needs. Staff received the correct training and supervision to support people safely. Referrals to appropriate health services were made promptly and recommendations acted on. People were supported to take their medicines safely by staff who had the correct skills to support them.”
