Safe systems of care were maintained in cooperation with healthcare partners. The provider ensured there were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff, who received effective support, supervision and development. Risks to people’s health and safety were managed to ensure people were safe. People’s medicines were administered safely.”

“The provider had a shared vision, strategy and culture and had inclusive leaders at all levels. The provider fostered a positive culture, valued diversity and encouraged staff to speak up. Although there had been ongoing changes with the provider’s management team, the provider ensured there were clear responsibilities for individual staff as well as a clear staff structure. At the time of our assessment there was no registered manager in post, but a new manager had been appointed and they later submitted their registered manager application to the CQC after our site visit. The provider ensured there were systems of accountability and good governance.”
