“Stanton Manor is a residential care home for adults of all ages and can accommodate up to 29 people who have dementia and/ or mental health conditions. The accommodation consists of a large house for 21 people and a smaller home in the grounds for up to 8 people. Our assessment began with an unannounced visit on 30 June and 3 July 2026, at which time 29 people were using the service. After the visit, the assessment was completed off-site, where we reviewed documentation and obtained additional feedback from visiting professionals and people’s relatives.”

“The service provided exceptionally caring support, with people consistently treated with kindness, compassion and respect. Staff demonstrated a thorough understanding of people's individual needs, preferences and aspirations, ensuring people remained at the centre of all decisions about their care. Strong, positive relationships had been developed, and staff promoted people's dignity, independence and wellbeing through a highly personalised approach. People were encouraged to express their views and make choices about their care, with staff showing a genuine commitment to ensuring they felt valued, listened to and respected.”
