“This responsive assessment was carried out in response to concerns we received about people’s care and good governance. We carried out a site visit to the care home on 7th February 2025 as part of the assessment. This assessment was carried out by an assessor, an inspector and a regulatory coordinator. Assessment activity started on 3 February 2025 and ended on 28 February 2024. We looked at 10 quality statements as part of this assessment.”
“Sheringham House is a residential care home providing accommodation with personal care for up to 5 people living with a learning disability. At the time of this assessment, 2 people were living at the service. People living in the home have their own bedrooms and there are shared communal spaces, including lounges, a kitchen and a garden area. We spoke with the home manager, 5 staff, 1 person living at the home and 2 relatives as part of this assessment.”
