However, audits relating to medicines and the monitoring of people's care needs required further strengthening to ensure they consistently identified and addressed areas for improvement.”

“Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) were in place as required, and renewal dates of authorisations were monitored.”

“The facilities and equipment met people’s needs, were mainly clean and any risks identified were mitigated.”

“Feedback from people, relatives and visitors was actively sought and used to drive ongoing service development.”

“There were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience to care for people. Managers made sure staff received training and regular supervisions to maintain high-quality care.”

“Staff made sure people understood their care and treatment to enable them to give informed consent. Staff involved relevant people and made decisions in people’s best interests where they did not have capacity. We observed staff responded to people in a timely way.”
