“Date of the assessment: 09 May 2024. Northwood Nursing and Residential Care is a residential care home providing accommodation and nursing care for up to 27 people in one adapted building, with bedrooms over 3 floors. At the time of the inspection there were 27 people living at the service.”
“We decided to assess parts of the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions. We found that the provider continues to be in breach of regulation 12 (Safe care and treatment) related to medicines. The provider is required to provide an action plan to assure us what they will do to make necessary improvements at the service. The provider now assessed and mitigated risks related to the environment, storage of thickeners and accident and incidents.”
