“Care plans were in place, were person centred and covered key areas of people’s needs and risks. Risks were assessed and people were involved in the process. People’s care plans were regularly reviewed and staff kept up to date with any changes. One staff member said, “All care plans are up to date and relevant to the resident’s needs”. This requires a lot of communication with residents to learn more extensively about them as individuals and how they would like to be supported both in the present and in the future”.”
“There were effective systems in place to safeguard people from abuse and staff demonstrated a good understanding of their responsibility in reporting any concerns.
