Harvey Lane demonstrated they were meeting the requirements of this guidance.”

“People were supported by staff who knew them well, in an environment which was well maintained and homely. People were protected from harm and risks relating to peoples’ care needs were mitigated using the least restrictive options.”

“The service empowered people to be in control of the decisions and choices they made, in conjunction with healthcare professionals and legal representatives.”

“Staff were kind, knowledgeable and caring. They demonstrated a good level of understanding of people’s complex needs. Staff spoke positively of the training they received and told us they enjoyed working with the people they supported.”

“The management team were open and transparent, and demonstrated a commitment to ongoing improvement. Where we identified concerns through our inspection process, the manager took immediate action to rectify these. Staff, people and their families had confidence in the registered managers ability to lead the service successfully and told us standards had improved under their leadership.”
