Eversley Rest Home

“Date of Assessment: 7 May 2025. Eversley Rest Home is a residential care home providing support to 26 older people some of whom were living with dementia. It is also registered to provide accommodation and personal care for those with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. As a result, we assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. However, although specific consideration was given towards this, people’s primary needs were age and dementia in this instance.”

“This inspection was completed to follow up on concerns from our last inspection. As a result we looked at the safe and well led quality statements only. At our last inspection the service was in breach of legal regulations regarding keeping people safe, the physical environment and checking the quality of care. At this inspection the service had made improvements and was no longer in breach of legal regulations.”
