“Date of assessment: 13 March 2024. Douglas Bank Nursing Home is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 40 people. The service provides support to people living with dementia, older people, younger adults, people with a physical disability and people with a sensory impairment. At the time of our inspection there were 32 people using the service.”
“We decided to assess the safe and well-led key questions to look at these concerns. We found that the provider was in breach of regulation 12 (Safe care and treatment). The provider is required to provide an action plan to assure us what they will do to make necessary improvements at the service.”
