There were enough staff to meet people’s needs, they worked well with each other and those involved in their care. Recruitment processes were appropriate, and infection risks were well managed.”

“Risks to people were not always managed effectively. Care plans were not always complete and did not always use person-centred language. Details about people’s histories, likes, dislikes and preferences were not always recorded in care plans. People were involved in their care plans, although reviews after accidents and incidents did not always occur. The registered manager was responsive to our feedback in these areas and took immediate steps to make improvements.”
