Church Farm at Rusticus

“Church Farm at Rusticus is a ‘care home’ providing personal care and support to people including people living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, the service was supporting 86 people with their personal care needs. Church Farm at Rusticus was last rated Good (20 October 2023). The report was published following CQC’s old inspection approach using key lines of enquiry (KLOEs), prompts and ratings characteristics. This assessment has been completed following the Care Quality Commission (CQC) new approach to assessment; Single Assessment Framework (SAF). We carried out our on-site assessment on 21 May 2024. This was an unannounced assessment, which means the provider was not told an assessment was going to be starting beforehand. We assessed a total of 21 quality statements from the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions. The scores for these areas have been combined with scores based on the key question ratings from the last inspection. Through the assessment of these 21 quality statements we indicated areas of concern and good practice since the last inspection. The provider was very responsive in actioning identified areas for improvement on this assessment.”
