“Cherrydale is a residential care home providing accommodation for up to 22 older people who require nursing or personal care, including people living with dementia. At the time of our assessment, 21 people were living at the home. Our assessment started on 4 June 2024 and ended on 21 June 2024. We carried out an unannounced visit to the home on 4 June 2024. We carried out the assessment to follow up information of concern we had received from the local authority and professionals relating to staffing levels, cleanliness, and the care of people who were at risk of pressure damage. We also followed up on areas for improvement identified at the last inspection (published 19 January 2023) when we rated the service requires improvement.
