“The way in which people’s needs were assessed and how the staff team supported them in line with best practice guidance, had led to some very positive outcomes for people. The way in which people’s health and wellbeing was monitored, as a priority by the management and staff team, had led to improved health related outcomes. People had been supported to improve their health, in areas such as mobility, nutrition and mental health, as a result of the support the staff had given them. The staff and management team worked exceptionally well with health professionals when people needed their help. As a result, people had been supported to improve their health and wellbeing, achieving positive outcomes through coordinated and person-centred care.”

“The registered manager and wider management team were exceptional at leading and driving a shared vision and positive culture at the service. Putting people at the centre of their support was a key value for the staff team and the service had a tremendously friendly and positive feel to it as a result. The management team understood every aspect of their job roles and utilised their knowledge and skills to ensure staff supported people to the best of their ability. Staff knew and supported people incredibly well as a result. The staff and management team linked and worked brilliantly well with partners and communities to ensure people had the best support they could. Despite the high standard of care already being delivered, the staff and management team remained dedicated to continually improving the service and people’s experiences as a result.”

“People were safe living at the service and staff were knowledgeable about safeguarding. There were enough staff to support people safely. People’s home environment was safe, and staff followed good infection and prevention control (IPC) procedures. The majority of people’s care plans and risk assessments were detailed about how to support them. People were supported in line with the Mental Capacity Act (MCA). People and relatives told us staff were exceptionally kind, and we observed staff supporting people with dignity and respect. Staff supported people to make choices in their day to day lives. People and relatives were supported to feedback about the service regularly. The management team’s audits were effective in identifying and driving improvements.”
