Park Street provides specialist support for up to four adults with autism and associated complex needs to develop the skills needed to live more independently.
Overview of Service
At Park Street, everyone is involved in producing their own person centred care plan, which focuses on positive outcomes such as developing independent living skills, social inclusion, further education and leisure interests.
We enable everyone to create their own activities timetable which includes hobbies such as swimming, music and horse riding. We also support people to complete work placements or find employment, and be involved in local community activities.
Through the ‘Your Voice’ initiative, individuals voice their views about the service they receive, using their preferred communication method. ‘Your Voice’ is all about listening to the wishes of individuals, and enabling people to exercise choice and control over their lives.
