Hanford Court care home is a stunning new development from Avery Healthcare that enjoys views of the Tentham Estate and is only a few minutes from junction 15 of the M6. Built to the highest specifications Hanford enjoys good connections via the A34 and offers residential and dementia care to the surrounding districts. Opened in March 2012, the home now partners with Avery's other successful home, Hempstalls Hall in Newcastle. All rooms benefit from en-suite walk in showers, flat screen TV's and there are both single and companion rooms to choose from. Companion rooms are also equipped with a enclosed kitchen area that supplements the restaurant standard cooking that is available throughout the day. Our chefs produce a steady stream of restaurant standard food in our dinning rooms and their tea and cakes are always a delight. Wine is served with evening meals and guests are welcome to join residents whenever they wish to. There are no set visiting times at Hanford Court and private parking is available. A vibrant and thriving community is what typifies all Avery homes and Handford has two dedicated recreation and leisure organisers who produce a varied programme of activities and events that include visits to local sites of interest, as well as visits from local groups, clubs and schools. Broadband wireless internet is also available throughout the home and is testament to our beliefs in empowering all our residents. There are are quiet lounges, dinning areas and the views from our top floor are excellent. We are lucky enough to have a fully fitted hair salon and activity rooms, as well as a beautifull private garden onto which opens our lounges and downstairs bedrooms. Our dementia care suite has its very own enclosed garden area and we offer a free family support programme called Connect that helps support families with dementia care.
