Homeleigh Farm is a specialist, male-only service, which supports 6 people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. The farm provides a safe, yet homely environment, whereby existing life skills can be developed and new ones achieved. We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone.

What it's Like to Live Here

Homeleigh Farm is set in 4 acres of land. We have chickens, a large garden with a vegetable area and an orchard for people to help look after.

The people who live here have varied interests and Homeleigh Farm aims to meet their needs and wants. There are community-based activities to get involved with, which include; horse riding, fishing, socialising at the local pub and visiting the library.

There are also local day care programmes, if individuals wish to attend.

Surroundings

Homeleigh Farm is set in a rural area, approximately 1 mile from the small town of Lydd. Lydd has a small selection of shops, a library and several pubs. Dungeness and the bird sanctuary are also close by. The famous Hythe and New Romney light railway is in Dungeness, along with 2 lighthouses and of course, the sea.

Service Facilities

The farm itself is a large bungalow, set in 4 acres of grounds. Each person has their own bedroom that they have personalised to their own taste.

There is a large sun lounge and a separate TV room, along with a separate dining room and open kitchen, which looks onto the conservatory.

Homeleigh Farm is a specialist, male-only service, which supports 6 people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We aim to provide a safe and homely environment, where all individuals can make their own choices about the support they receive.

The 6 people living here enjoy the farm environment and its large grounds; and they also get involved with activities in the local community.

At Homeleigh Farm we offer support 24 hours a day from highly trained, dedicated members of staff.
