Nine individuals live at 48 Cedar Road where they are provided with high quality support to enable them to develop and maintain their independence and cognitive skills following an acquired brain injury. We are pleased to have been granted Headway Approved Provider status.

The support we provide is based around rehabilitation techniques which increase individuals’ independence. We monitor progress regularly using Goal Attainment Scaling. The well trained staff team at 48 Cedar Road are supported by a neuro-psychologist, who assesses each person's specific needs and implements and reviews therapy programmes. We can provide neuro-occupational therapy.

We have a proven track record in helping people to move forward and achieve the lifestyle they want.

Everyone is encouraged and assisted to make the most of local facilities, using public transport where possible to build independence. The varied activities people currently enjoy include swimming and bowling. Visits to local attractions such as Dudley Zoo and Castle are also arranged.

The spacious shared spaces within the service give everyone the opportunity to socialise, spend time alone or participate in therapy sessions, as they wish. The high staff levels enable people to become actively involved in the daily running of the service, building living skills. There is a specially designed training kitchen for preparing meals.

The service has been carefully designed to meet the specialist needs of the people living here, whilst still providing a warm environment. The nine bedrooms all have en-suite facilities and ceiling tracking is available where required.

The service has a large garden which people are invited to help maintain.
