Hatch Mill is a two storey residential care home with nursing for older people owned and managed by The Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society and situated in Farnham, Surrey. It is within easy reach of Farnham town centre and is not far from a bus route and train station serving the local area and London. Nearby are local shops and other facilities such as a Post Office and Public House.
After a £1.5 million re-modelling project Hatch Mill now has 46 rooms; 19 Residential and 27 Nursing. There is one double room on each floor which caters for couples. 2012 has seen a major refurbishment of Hatch Mill home to ensure it meets the needs of future Residents. This has included new modern lounges & dining rooms furnished to the highest standards, a beautiful sun-lounge, a larger lift & modern Foyer. The home offers WIFI, freshly cooked food, excellent care & activities to suit all. The refurbishment has also included an extension which has allowed the creation of 10 extra bedrooms.
The home is set in well laid out gardens with a large courtyard garden in the centre. There are several large, mature
trees, a number of interesting shrubs and a natural pond all of which are well maintained and give a pleasant picture for residents to view.
Hatch Mill is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Please click here to view our most recent assessment reports.
Accommodation
There are a total of 46 bedrooms, on the ground and first floor. Most bedrooms are single rooms, although each floor has one double room for couples. The bedrooms are all en-suite with basin and toilet. Each floor has its own dining room, lounges and bathrooms.
Our aim is to make Hatch Mill truly feel like a home from home. As such we actively encourage our residents to decorate their own rooms with personal items, such as small pieces of furniture and pictures to create a feeling of familiarity.
Hatch Mill caters for all with a stunning sun lounge and in-house Hairdressing Salon.
