A Luxury Care Home For Nottingham Acer Court Care Home in Nuthall, Nottingham will be opening in July 2011 and will offer residential and dementia care for the elderly. This care home is one of Avery Healthcare''s newest developments and brings to Nottingham a care home of outstanding quality. Comprising of 78 en-suite and generously sized bedrooms each equipped to a high specification comparable to that of any high quality hotel. We also offer premier rooms at Acer Court that offer just a little more than the average room. Such rooms give residents a little more independance by providing extra room for seating for you and your guests, a daily or weekly paper or journal and light refreshments delivered to your room.

Specialist Dementia Care Each day our dedicated recreation co-ordinators produce a range of activities and engagements that are designed to stimulate our residents and encourage socialising. These activities are fun, mentally nourishing and for some of our residents, active. Our dementia education programme, Connect, helps families understand the needs of dementia sufferers and is free to all our families. We regularly hold community events at Acer Court and invite various organisations, groups and school children in to share with our residents. Acer Court is definitely part of the local community and has a role to play. Visitors are welcome to visit whenever they wish and family and friends can join you for some food and a drink. We provide quiet areas where there are no televisions, and of course a secure and furnished garden which we all like to use when the weather is fine. If you fancy some pampering, there is even a hair salon on site too. The home is close to the M1 and also to the centre of Nottingham and has access to an excellent transport system. NVQ trained carers are available 24 hours a day, including specialist dementia trained carers in our specialist dementia suite.
