The Old Vicarage is located in the renowned conservation village of Weekley. Constructed by Sir Arthur Blomfield in 1872, this listed building has operated as a care home for the elderly since 1984. The home is situated less than 2 miles from Kettering Town centre, a short distance from the A43 Northern Bypass and within easy reach of Corby. The home is within a short walk from the church, local sub-post office and tea-room. The house enjoys an impressive south-facing position in the centre of this much sought after village. The gardens, which have been nationally featured, together with grounds of 1 acre, look onto the Boughton Estate home of the Duke of Buccleuch, the heir of the Montagus’. Royal Bay Care Homes is a long-established group with over 27 years experience of providing caring and secure residential homes for the elderly. From simple help with daily living through to full nursing care, a Royal Bay care home guarantees to match the needs of individuals. Our care homes can also offer respite care facilities - please contact the individual care home for details.
When you walk across the threshold of one of our care homes, you immediately feel the warmth and security which is the result of the work of our managers, carers and domestic staff. This is a truly vocational environment where the carers who succeed are the ones who see beyond the frailty of older age and the limitations it brings, into the whole person and their rich experience of life. All Royal Bay Care Staff have training appropriate to their duties and responsibilities. Many are undergoing continued vocational qualification training to help them progress in their delivery of professional and friendly care. Care Home Managers all hold the NVQ in Care the highest level, or the Registered Manager''s Award.
