The Hawthorns Care Centre provides nursing and respite care for elderly people with physical frailty. The Hawthorns is a victorian house situated five minutes from the city centre of Norwich. It is also within driving distance of Norwich airport and is easily accessible from the A140. The nearest railway station is Thorpe Station located at riverside. Regular bus services stop near to the care centre.

Our focus is our service users and their families. Our aim is to run each of our residential and nursing homes as a family unit - to create a “homely” feeling that our service users can feel safe and comfortable in. Our holistic approach to care emphasises the importance of social interaction and activities. Our people are very experienced at listening, understanding and responding to the needs of service users. Our people are central to the service we provide in our residential and nursing homes. We know the best care comes from a motivated and knowledgeable team.
