Linden Lodge is a service for 10 adults with mental health problems. All our care programs are tailored to each individual because we believe that each person is a unique individual with different needs, interests and hobbies. Linden Lodge has a main house which is seven bedrooms and a smaller house with three bedrooms with ensuites. The smaller house is used to develop individuals towards independent living.

Overview of service

Our service is run by an experienced Manager, who is supported by a team of trained Support Workers. We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to individuals care and hence we work closely with other professionals including Social Workers, Chiropodists, Opticians and Community Psychiatric Nurses. Our philosophy is that each person should take the lead in their care programme and no programme is drawn up without the individual's input.

What it's like to live here

The service organises day trips to places of interest and client holidays. Everyone is supported with personal shopping should they so wish. There is a wide range of in-house activities including board games and outings to swimming and other local facilities are easily organised. Linden Lodge has a quiet room where individuals can access a safe and secure computer. Our life skills coach organises a range of daily activities both in and out of the home that are planned in conjunction with the wishes of those who use our service.

Surroundings

Situated in Southgate, North London, it is conveniently located near good public amenities including pubs, cinemas cafes and swimming pools. Linden Lodge is easily accessible by public transport including a tube station.

Service facilities

Linden Lodge has a main house which is seven bedrooms and a smaller house which is three bedrooms with ensuites. It is a modern house specially designed to provide a cosy and homely feel for those who use our service. Each room is fully furnished including a television and can easily be personalised at an individual's request.

The service has spacious rooms where everyone can relax and entertain their visitors. The rooms are equipped with televisions and radios for everybody's enjoyment. We have a specific room where individuals can socialise and enjoy their favourite beverage.
