We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone.

What it's Like to Live Here

There are many opportunities available for outings and shopping trips and everyone helps to decide where they would like to go. We visit the nearby towns of Folkestone, Ashford, and Margate and travel further afield for holidays. Some of the holidays in the past have taken place in Devon, Dorset and Sussex and have always been enjoyable.

Eden Cottage is located in Dymchurch, within the Kent countryside. The service is set within a private residential area and is within walking distance of the beautiful coastline.

Service Facilities

Eden Cottage is a chalet-style bungalow and supports 2 people on the ground floor. The building itself is decorated to a very high standard and individuals are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms.

There is a beautiful garden, with a pond, to the rear of the cottage. The cottage has its own transport for trips to local places of interest, or for holidays across the UK.

The Cottage is very homely and comfortable. It has a relaxed atmosphere and provides 24 hour service. Eden Cottage aims to ensure a safe and secure environment and strives to meet individual's daily needs.

The service promotes Craegmoor's communication strategy, "Your Voice", which encourages individuals, based on their preferred method of communication, to voice their views about the care and support they receive. Monthly meetings are held where individuals are able to represent the views and voices of others living at Eden Cottage.
