Overview of service

The Pebbles is a specialised service for people with learning disabilities.  The Pebbles is situated in Poole and is specially designed to support three people with complex needs. The needs we support in the home are autism, challenging behaviour, and epilepsy.

What it's like to live here

The people we support at The Pebbles like to help with meal planning, cooking, cleaning, activity planning, socialising and gardening on a regular basis. Some of the people we support go on work placements and particularly enjoy this independence. A variety of daily activities are provided at The Pebbles with available transport to support service users who wish to go into the local community.

Surroundings

The Pebbles has been converted into a three bedroom residential service, providing spacious accommodation for individuals with complex needs. The accommodation includes a lounge, spacious kitchen and a separate dining room. There is also good-sized conservatory and a large garden at the rear of the home which is utilised in summer months for BBQs and ‘Al Fresco’ dining.

At the Pebbles we encourage the people we support to personalise their rooms to their own taste as well as to take an active role in the running of the home.
