Dedicated to offering a friendly and caring atmosphere to all residents and staff. The home itself was built towards the end of the 19th century as a large country house and has been adapted over the years for its current use as a care home.

The majority of the bedrooms have en suite facilities and the remaining bedrooms have wash hand basins fitted. Couples who wish to share are able to have two rooms - one of which is used as a bedroom and the other as a private lounge. Sandiway Lodge has large, spacious communal areas such as the lounge, dining room and conservatory in which Residents may relax and socialise. There is also a hobbies/games room for residents` use. As many of our residents like to get out into the gardens, there are accessible outside seating areas which surround the home.

Sandiway Lodge is situated off Chester Road in Sandiway, approximately three miles from the town of Northwich and is set in an acre of gardens. There is a local shop conveniently situated across the road, and other community facilities within the village of Cuddington. There is a bus route which runs near the home and visits local areas.

All Service Users will undergo an assessment to ensure we are able to meet their needs, our service will provide support which encourages personal growth and development, we aim to encourage and promote motivation and independence. All Service Users will have their own care plan which will be compiled with the service users, their family members and professional bodies, Our care plans will detail the requirement of the individual, this will include daily tasks, activities, personal requirements, risk assessments and likes and dislikes. Each service user will have the opportunity to discuss their wishes with their General Practitioner.

The Home Manager, Beverley Smith has many years experience in care and gained relevant management qualifications and is committed to maintaining excellent standards of choice, dignity and independence for service users by employing quality, valued and loyal staff.

Sandiway Lodge care home in Chester provides personal care and accommodation for up to 36 older people. All visitors are welcomed.
